connect cloud based files in shopify

The shopify App needs a capability to connect files from a cloud drive in the same way as the Lulu API instead of having to download them and then reupload them into your system.  Housing them permanently in the cloud would also be helpful in allowing easier management

Good afternoon. I am writing to try and gain some clarity on what you are asking. Do you just want to be able to use a link from your cloud that directs to your file rather than downloading the file from your cloud service, then uploading to the app?

    Thanks!

yes, similar to the way the API allows books to be printed from cloud based files,  either print directly from the cloud files as with the API or load them you your cloud servers so you can verify them first as done in the current Shopify App.  This will allow future upgrades to allow product management software to easily manage and update a users books on shopify.

Few individuals have the bandwidth. speed or time to repeatedly download and upload books which has to be done anytime update my listings on shopify via a flat file.  It is way too time consuming to edit each individual listing on shopify after I have already done it in my in house database and can simply produce a flat file to do it all for me.
